Hey, I’m Andy!


I teach on Awabakal
and Worimi Country in Newcastle, NSW.

  • I have over 20 years experience playing guitar and bass

  • I am a registered NSW primary and secondary teacher

  • I have a Master of Teaching and a Bachelor of Creative Arts

  • I help build confidence, technical skills, and prepare students for musical performances

  • I love teaching and learning design, and I adapt my lessons to meet each students’ individual needs

  • I want to create fun memories for the next generation of musicians in Newcastle

  • I see creativity and self-expression as an essential life skill


Outside the studio, you'll usually find me cooking, with my band Spaghetti Death Trap (pictured), or hanging out with my turtle, Bean.
