I offer mobile lessons in the Newcastle area, and online lessons via Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.
During the school term, I also teach through Upbeat Music on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Lessons are 30 minutes. In this time, we go through warm-up exercises, techniques and practice segments or complete songs. Extended - 1 hour sessions for Intermediate and Advanced students upon request.

Yes! I offer a 30-minute free trial lesson where we can chat about what instrument you would like to learn and what your goals might be. Then we can decide if we are the right fit for each other!

30 minute lessons are $50. Cancellations less than 48 hours will forfeit the full fee. Prior to 48 hours, we negotiate a suitable replacement lesson at a time that works for both of us. All lessons are paid in advance.

No, you don't need to bring your own guitar or bass. I can provide all the musical equipment you'll need for each face-to-face lesson at no extra cost.
If you already have your own guitar or bass, that's great - feel free to bring it along.
If you're still looking to buy one, I can help you choose the right instrument once you know you're ready to invest. Many guitarists prefer to learn on their own instrument.

Yes! Parents are encouraged to sit in on lessons - particularly for primary-aged students.

Yes! As a registered NSW teacher, I have a valid Working With Children's Check (WWCC) and I am happy to share this with you upon request.
